I am a fully qualified Foot Health Practitioner.   I trained at The SMAE Institute in Maidenhead.  The letters after my name show that I am a Member of the Open College of Foot Health Professionals (MCFHP) and a Member of the British Association of Foot Health Professionals (MAFHP).

To ensure that I keep abreast with the foot health profession and any changes or developments within the industry I pursue different Continuing Professional Development (CPD) topics annually.  For example, I have recently signed up to a course which looks at applying a wide range of padding and taping to relieve pain and deflect pressure in your feet.    

You are in safe hands (or should I say feet!) when you ask me to look after your feet as I am fully insured (through the SMAE Institute) and am fully DBS checked (previously known as a CRB checked).

I live in Biggin Hill with my husband and son.  Having previously worked for a large, multinational company in the centre of London for a number of years, I decided that I wanted to pursue a career which was much more caring and rewarding, and so retrained as a Foot Health Practitioner.  I haven't looked back since, and am really enjoying it!
